I thought I was just going to Auntie Judy’s to eat pizza, get a bale of hay and do a Facebook Live session.  What I got also was a big surprise from my Geeks!

It started with a bale of hay

I grow tomatoes and cucumbers outside my kitchen window in a small garden.  Last year, I was so happy to know Auntie Judy has a farm and they bale hay.  One bale of hay is great to put down and keep my weeds down.  I asked Momma and Judy if I could have a bale of hay for my garden.  That question led to a Friday night of pizza and coming on Facebook Live from Judy’s living room.

Little did I know, my Geeks were up to something

I’d decided to have a question of the week to use for each live Facebook event.  This past week was your top 3 favorite table restaurants in Disney World.  I started the event going around the room talking about our favorite restaurants.  Then, it was time to bring someone on live.  I randomly choose Chris Cates.  I did notice a very large number of on watchers for this episode.  While speaking with Chris, Judy says I think it’s time for the reveal and pulls a Mickey gift bag out from behind her chair and couch.

The Geeks punked me!

I had no idea they had been cooking this up.  As you can see from the picture, I got a cool beer mug card, a hat with our logo, a coffee mug with our logo and an Amazon gift card!  It’s an amazing feeling to feel the appreciation and love from the community.  What can I say?  I’m honored and blessed.  THANK YOU.

I researched and placed an order this weekend that will partly enhance the podcast.  I ordered a Gimbal stabilizer, tripod and Rode microphone so I can record video smoothly while walking.  It will be great for those resort coffee walks.  I’ll use it this Summer to walk and talk on Facebook live.  In the studio, it will be set up too for video too.
