Tips for traveling to Disney World with young kids:
-Carry a “travel bag” keep loaded with extra diapers, wipes, two changes of clothing, plenty of snacks and battery pack
-Side by side stroller that can recline for naps, it becomes our mobile home base
-Schedule rides early, lunch, nap, back to hotel, pool time, back at park after 6 for dinner and walk them around
(Our kids refused to nap in hotel and were to excited to sleep early, at home asleep by 7pm, so we bate before park at night and tire them out and pajama them in car before back in room)
-Since babies born we only stay on property (became Dvc members) closer to parks, the level of customer service is ridiculous (son got hurt at splash area and wdw bent over backwards to help us, also had a bad fridge in room and our food spoiled, they went out to Publix and bought us replacement food) also pools are amazing
-When packing bags, roll up entire outfits (shirt socks pants) so you just grab an outfit and go, don’t have to mix and match
-Activities for room and eating dollar store packages that include crayons and stickers also good for car
-Allow them to run around as much as possible to tire them out best spots are the ducks at Epcot between a seas and land, open areas at resorts, boardwalk area, playgrounds, living seas aquarium area, garden in England
-Rider swap is pretty awesome
Most important tip, the trip is for the babies to enjoy wdw, and us to enjoy them! They won’t complain if they didn’t get to ride their favorite ride, they are just happy to see Mickey. We have annual passes so it takes the pressure off of feeling you have to ride every single ride.
